These release properties allow your vehicle to stay cleaner between washes. It also makes washing and caring for your vehicle much easier since ceramic coatings are designed to repel dust and dirt. The protection and durability provided by a ceramic coating is unmatched when compared to waxes and sealants.

What is the Difference Between a Ceramic Coating and Clear Bra?

A ceramic coating is designed to protect your exterior surfaces from environmental damage but cannot withstand larger impacts. This is where clear bra, or paint-protection film (ppf) comes in. Clear bra will prevent impacts from high-wear areas of the vehicle and preserves the OEM paint finish.

The best way to care for your newly ceramic-coated vehicle is to wash by hand with the appropriate solutions, tools, and techniques. While each manufacturer has recommended products and procedures, hand-washing with pH neutral shampoos without wax additives is widely accepted. Take care to always work in the shade, keep your tools and buckets clean, use light pressure, and always remove rinse water as quickly as possible to prevent water spots/deposits.
